	Ad-aware - This free spyware removal tool is one of the favorites of the industry. It removes most malware.
	HijackThis - This free spyware removal tool is one of the favorites of the industry. It removes most malware.
	Spybot - Search & Destroy - This spyware removal tool is one of the favorites of the industry. It removes most malware. Click here for a tutorial on how to install and use Spybot.

Antivirus

	AntiVir - This program is from a German software vendor and is free for home users. Futura has not had the chance to evaluate this software.
	Avast Antivirus - While this antivirus program doesn't seem as effective on its own as the AVG, combined with AVG it becomes a powerful tool. This program will install a virus blocker that prevents incoming virus connections to your computer. It's free for home users but does require a registration to get a free 14 month license. 	AVG Antivirus (Free Edition) - This antivirus program is free for home users. One of the things we like best about it is it also detects many types of malware.

Browsers & Utilities

	Avant Browser - An alternative internet browser with a built-in pop-up blocker.
	GetRight - This program will allow you to resume interrupted downloads. This is a wonderful utility for downloading large files.
	Mozilla Firefox - An alternative internet browser that incorporates a built-in pop-up blocker. One of the most popular new browsers.
	Netscape - An alternative internet browser. Netscape has been around about as long as Internet Explorer. It comes with email client as well.
	Opera - An alternative internet browser.

	Pop-Up Stopper Free Edition - This utility blocks those annoying pop-up windows for those users who want to stick with Internet Explorer.
